87 D21 ??

I need to replace the steering gear box seal on my truck and was hoping someone could tell me the size of the nut on the pitman arm there. Also, anything I need to watch out for? First time doing one of these. Thanks

Nobody knows the answer to this?? Please!!

Hey, the size on the manual steering is a 40mm or a 1 5/8 in. Or very close to. Mine was removed with a pipe wrench and a cheater bar. You also need to lock the pitman arm from rotating too far or you may bend something else when the stops make contact at the wheels.
