'96 - '98 3.3 Pathy. I'm told the recommendation for new belt is 105,000. I'm buying a PF with 95,000 on it. What are you guys paying for timing belt service........dealer and other?

$300 for parts and an evening of your time.

Make sure the quote includes a new water pump, camshaft oil seals, thermostat, upper and lower radiator hoses and a cooling system flush. Replacing the timing belt tensioner is a good idea and unless you like your accessory drive belts, 3 of them, spend the $40 and get those too.

I believe that my local dealer quoted $800 - $1,000.
