Ebay's hardbody xenon lights

Has anyone tried the HID xenon headlights for the HB from ebay? They say that they will bolt right in, but I was hoping for some reviews before I commit to anything. $16.95 US seems a little to good for two xenon lights with bulbs.

Thanks for any help

Les

i was under the impression that the hardbody lights were sealed beam - replace the whole light, not just a bulb. i guess it sounds reasonable. never tried them tho, so keep looking around.

Yeah I guess these lights are the non-sealed kind. Here is the link:

What do you guys think?

that looks like, at BEST, an inexpensive set of regular headlights... those are not HID.
if the existing lights are one-piece sealed those will allow you to change your bulbs to ones like the stupid useless blue ones shown. tinted bulbs are not good.
there are better than OE bulbs available, but none of them are painted blue.

unless yer going for bling

I have some of the 6054 -> h4 housings from ebay, they work pretty well, are they better than the stock 6054's -- hard to say the ones i have use a seriously different beam pattern, so it's hard to say. You might get in trouble with some of them because they're not all "DOT APPROVED"

Those are pieces of crap, definately not HID (HID is a few hundred bucks) and probably a crappy ricer bulb. It says nothing about the wattage or anything. If you want an H4 that looks like HID, PIAA SuperPlasma GT-X is the way to go...those can only give you a head ache from the potential problems they can cause.
