I have a 93 hardbody with a V6 and it says Z24 on the top of the breather.The engine doesen't have two heads like most V6's and it's a Dual chain inside not a belt.I need to know what kind of engine I have because it wasn't the same V6 in my haynes manually.

It kinda sounds like you have the Z24 4 cyl standard 80's motor. You should count eight spark plugs, 4 on the intake side, and 4 on the exhaust. Eveything else you mention should be accurate for the Z24 but it would not be a 6 cyl. However, you state that the truck is a 93. The last year for the Z24 was 89 or 90. A 93 should have the KA24E (12 valve 4 spark plug) motor.
