Xterra warranty question

I have an 03 xterra. The rotors were turned at 11k miles, and they did that under warranty. Now its at 24k miles and I think they need to be turned again, or maybe replaced. Will they replace them under warranty of they are too worn?

I'd say they would (or should). Generally, I don't think "wear" items are included in new vehicle warranties, but in this case, rotors shouldn't need turning every 11,000 miles. I bet they can still resurface them, if it's only been done once. But if they need replacement, I'd have a hard time believing that Nissan considers only 24,000 from a set of rotors to be normal wear and tear. I think it'll depend on what the fine print on the warranty says.

I'd say it depends on the dealer. Most dealers will say you are too hard on the brakes, but if they are concious of customer service, they may do it this time.

usually parts like brakes and rotors and warranted for 12k miles....after 12k miles you're on your own,...even alignments are covered for the first 12k miles...
that's true with Chevy and Honda...
