waynekog Sorta-Newbie Join Date: Sep 2004 Posts: 10	service engine lite solution I had a engine lite come on like many others. I had the code read at autozone and a EGR problem was exposed.. a new one is $146, or try to clean the old one. as I proceeded to remove things in the way of a EGR removal- I took off the plastic vaccum diaphram directly above the EGR- I noticed the bottom of the plastic diaphram had a small hole that was plugged- I opened it and put every thing back- after about 4 days the Service engine light went off- so that is something to try- which didnt cost anything. -wayne-
