first of all I'd like to say I"M BACK to my fan club lol

anyways I've just gotten back from looking at new Xterras, and pathfinders and have TOTAL STICKER SHOCK!!!........so I may do the next best thing buy a used one .........here is a few questions?

1)what are the plagueing problems of the pathfinders in 01?
2)one I looked at had a oil smell and I ask the guy if it had an oil leak, of course he said no, but I remember a buddy of mine having a nissan 4x that had a leaking oil pan gasket, which led to him having a clutch failure, then after the third attempt the 4x was sold because the oil leak still wasnt fixed. question: does the 01 pathfinder have the same engine as the hardbody trucks?
3)gas mileage, what kind of gas mileage does the 01 pathfinder get?
