I just got my 2002 frontier crewcab,no warranty.the horn, cruise control are not working.also the airbag light is blinking.checked fuses and relays and everything is in order.checked around and a nissan guru told me that I have a faulty "steering wheel clock spring". have anyone had the same problem? The dealer says its a $260.00 part.anyone knows where can I get a better price?

Sounds like a spiral cable to me. The spiral cable is the cable that carries current to and from the electrical controls on the wheel. The clock spring is actually the deployment device for the airbag (and isn't a spring at all).

My spiral cable is bad too, and because of the price, I haven't replaced it. The previous owner installed a small button just below the wheel for the horn, to pass inspection. It works fine...except for the lame Japanese horn sound.
