PCV valve location for Frontier

My buddy has a 2003 Frontier 4x4 V6 (20K miles) & told me that he just got his oil changed & they told him he needed a new PCV valve. He wants to do it himself, but isn't sure where it is. Any ideas?

I believe that it is the second hose from the fire wall on the right side top of the engine. Go to your local auto store buy one and then look at your engine and fit the sizes up with each other. It is easy enough to find. If that fails just get a book while you are at the auto store for your truck. "Hanes" makes some good books.

Excellent. I would look for mine, but there's an approaching tropical storm beating my rooftop at the moment

Thanks again,

No problem. The same storm is causing tornados at mine.

As far as Hanes, I was quick in responding and spelled it wrong. Please forgive. I hope that you understood what I was saying though.

Yep, know the reference, but I didn't think they had anything out on the 2003 model yet (too cheap to buy an older and probably strikingly similar one). Hmmmm....wait a minute....do they still have those large buildings filled with...er...um...books...that's it! And those doubty women with the glasses who shoosh people...LIBRARIANS! Bugger all -- maybe a library!

Rain update. getting water down the chimney and some through one upstairs windowframe. NICE. (Greenville, SC)
