Upper Ball Joints 95 hardbody

well..since my truck has been lowered, my tires sit in like / \ and the front shocks were spent (you're supposed to be able to push them in and then they'll slowly come back up...well mine wouldn't come back up.) yeah anyways..and now my upper ball joints are torn all to hell and i need to replace them..everyone i talk to seems to say that they're a pain in the ass to install. What do u think??
also i'm going to install new back shocks.
my question is...What other damage could the screwed up upper ball joints cause? and is Monroe shocks a good brand?? just wondering..

Well, everythign you have heard about upper ball joints is prolly true.
I just replaced lower and upper ball joints on my truck among other things. It can be done one your own and the pirce of doing so I think is worth the impending frustration involved.Basically worn ball joints will cause shake when driving and decrease your handling and ride quality. My truck is a 94 and the boots and joints were long shot. Post again if you want specific instructions on upper ball joint removal or do a search and you may find my earlier postings on the same topic with no responses. Best of luck either way.

Monroe I would say is good mid range quality stuff.

Oh, and I just saw the quote in your signature, very nice movie.
