Newguy

Currently have a 95 nissan xe pickup w/shift lock problems. Has gone
from intermittent to locked in park position..Shifter is on the column,
automatic obviously. Is there a way I can by pass this or a manual reset
to at least get it to shop to be repaired ? Have tried tracing the cable and
sensor ( No luck ) was suggested to engage key to past on position and this
would let me at least get it out of the locked position, no luck on that as
well...Any suggestion or tips would be appreciated.
