this si definitely feasible if you know what you are doing. the frames for the v6 and 4cyl in 94 are the same but I know it is never just a simple drop it in. there is also a sr20det option, which is a killer v6 but would take some pretty major modification. others in her can give you precise info, just wanted to let you know it is possible.

the Sr20DET engine is a 4 cylinder, an easier swap would be a nissan V6, since the 94 came with the V6 you could do the swap using all factory parts, best way to do this would be to find a complete ( or at least a complete front end) of a similiar truck that way you could get all the parts you need, ex. wiring harness, computer etc. I just saw a 95 nissan 4x4 for sale with a swapped 2001 frontier supercharged V6 in it.

probably what ever year you wanted to use but you'll have to get everything that goes with the V6, but before you bother doing a swap realize that there isn't a big big difference in th HP and torque ratings between the 4 cyl and the V6
