clutch flushing

What is the procedure for flushing out the hydrolic fluid in the clutch master cylinder? I have an idea in my head but want to double check it. Thanks

clutch flush

If you want the fluid clean use a turkey baster to draw out the fluid from the reservoir and refill with clean dot3 brake fluid or whatever it calls for.

IF you want it REALLY clean draw out as much fluid as you can with the baster and bleed out the rest through the slave cylinder bleeder. (you'll have recap the reservoir and pump the clutch pedal to get it out) REFILL the reservoir with clean fluid and DRAIN ALL the fluid through the slave cylinder bleeder. This will clean it out. Refill and repressurize draining the slave as necessary to achieve proper compression.

I am assuming the nissan has a slave cylinder in the hydraulic clutch system as i don't have the hayes manual handy, and i've never seen a hydraulic clutch w/out one.
