I have been looking around for a turbo kit for my 99 patty with no luck. if any one knows where i can get a decent one, thats not gonna kill my pockets. please let me know where. under $700 would be nice. thanks.

um lol your not going to find a turbo kit anywhere near 700 bucks. You cant even buy a good turbocharger itself for 700 bucks. Sorry man but you have to have the cash to turbo your car right. And if you don't do it right you will be looking for another car/engine. Save up some more money. Also I doubt there is a turbo kit for a pathy. It will more than likely have to be a custom job. Which is going to cost a bit more to do properly.

Even 2200 bucks probably didn't come with all the nessacary stuff that you are going to need to turbo properly

ha!! I WISH WE COULD TURBO everything for 700 bucks, complete setups for custom applications run about 3 G'S with a stock turbo from a 240sx s-13 and standard bov's, looking to spend more if you want a t25 and special greddy bov's or whatnot......not to mention the price difference between intercoolers......and you'll have to detune your motor by putting lower compression pistons in there.....you'd get detonation with 10.5 :1 pistons and 7 lbs of boost......and then your gonna want a turbo timer so you dont frag your precious turbo....big dough for big gains.....but fun as hell to see a hardbody spank some puke in his lowered honda thinkin hes tough shit.....definatly worth it

I know kits for the SR20 run from $3500-$4500, and of course you always need more stuff (ecu reprogram, injectors, exhaust beyond the downpipe...)
Don't forget the fab work to make a custom job fit. Is there a spot for the intercooler to get fresh air? How 'bout oil lines and coolant lines to the turbo? If you see a kit as cheap as $2200, TRUST it needs a lot of help to make it work. Sorry.

A supercharger would be a cheaper project than a turbo.
