ok so i have a 1995 nissan pick-up and i got the codes for my check engine light. can any one tell me what the code means though? this is what i got. the red light blinked: 1 long time, 2, 3, 4, 5 and then repeated itself. and the 1-5 thats how many times the light blinked before it paused
I'm not sure if you read the code right. I cannot find an error code 15. The number of long flashes is the first digit (sounds like yours is a one) and the number of short flashes is the second digit (2-3-4-5 sounds like yours is a four) If I am right then that is a code 14 == vehicle speed sensor. And here I am assuming you have a 4 cylinder. The v-6 codes are read by counting the flashing red & green lights on the ecu.
