I have a 1995 Nissan Pickup, extended cab. Someone came by while I wasn't home, and cut a bunch of wires, that are located in the engine compartment on the front right side, behind the headlight. I don't know if there was a part in there or not, I never paid much attention, I also spliced the wires together, putting color to color, but it still doesn't start. They also cut my coil cable, that goes to the distributor, I got a new one, but it still doesn't start. Please help. Richard

some of those wires are fuseable links!! you will need a test light and check for power on both ends where u spliced them together. if all is ok next step is to check for spark, fuel, and possible injector pulse.

I Have no spark at coil . my wife wrote this before i knew so the whole story isnt here . i went to a junk yard and looked at another truck like mine and it seems there isnt any part that is missing from under the hood .gas isnt an issue. they cut a blue wire a gray with white stripe wire one small part that i sermize is a resistor maby? that was connected with a yellow and green very thin wire. i reconnected all these wires in there proper place. engine turns over fine. i have no spark and have no clue of how the current flows weather its path goes through some mystry part i dont know about .went to the library and looked through the chilsen to no avail. seems i cant find the info i need , there are two connectord at the bottom of the coil one has two wires blue and black and white striped the other has three wires blue black with pink smaller white wirei assume the current must come to the coil from one of these .but have no clue as to which one. regarding the wires being fused .i checked the fuse pannel in the truck and all seems well.noticed the white wire on the connector on the bottom of the coil is really the gray wire with athe white wire inside and a bare silver wire inside which has ben severed.this wire i could not re connect because it isnt attached to the bottom of the connector to the coil. this wire seemes similar to a coax cable

No Spark at plugs. Only have about 9 1/2 or 10 volts at top of coil. Have about same on one side of coil coming in. Have current to resistor and out of resistor. Have current to condenser, nothing out. Have current on line from egnition switch to power transistor. No power from other side of transistor going to ecm computer module.
The wire at this point has been cut by some one, there is a white insulated wire, and a bunch of strands of silver un insulated wires that are not connected to terminal block with wire going in. It's only surrounding the other wire and has been cut. Does the power from this line line go to or from the ECM?
