I am looking for some different rims for my 94 SE v-6 4x4. I have the stock aluminum rims (look like an abstract triangle to me) and they are getting beat up, especially the center caps (not to mention the fact that I dont really like them). I would like some of the 5 spoke aluminums off if say a 96 or 97 4x4. Does anyone know where I could get some of these? Thanks!!

It's difficult -- they were only produced those two years. You can get 'em for about a hundred bucks a rim. Look at online salvage yards. Come to think of it, they're easy to find for any price...just hard to find for a "good" price.
YEP.. Try www.car-parts.com
And search online for used wheels. There is, IRC, an actual site that sold OEM rim/wheel . Just forgot how I ran across it.
Ebay. I got mine for 150+ shipping (30) USD. They are Z Racing Type 88's. Look kinda silly on a 2wd, but it handles well with the 235 crossection rubber. Wait til ya find the ones you want. Watch shipping rates...

They are sitting in my garage...I don't even use um that much anymore. I got some black steelies to swap back and forth between froding trips...that got real old real quick, so I leave the steelies on most the time.
I keep thinking about selling the alloys, but I just haven't been able to let um go.
I also have some older alloys from an Isuzu, they look cool but the finish is not the greatest...shipping would be a biatch I think.
The steelies look good. Shipping would be bad all the way across the country, and the total bill would certainly be more than I wanted to pay. I'm used to getting wheels for 25 bucks a pop for older domestic cars, but with newer vehicles, I guess insurance companies pay upwards of $100/wheel to fix cars so that's what 'yards are selling them for. Occassionally, I'll see a set of OE Nissan alloys on eBay (usually Frontier or X wheels) go for $200 or under for the set, but add $50 or $100 for shipping, and you're back up to close to $75/wheel. I guess I'll live with my chromies. I've decided on Bridgestone Dueler A/T 693s for my next set, same size as I have now, 30x9.50, so I don't really need the extra width of a 7" alloy wheel anyway. But man I'd love to have it.
I just equipped my '94 Pathy with a set of Toyota six spoke aluminums from a late Tacoma. I happened to get a set of 15x7's but they can be found in 16x7. They have a 4 5/8" backspacing which is about perfect. The only additional hardware you need to buy is a set of 12mm X 1.25 lug nuts (Nissan or aftermarket) as Toyo uses 12mm X 1.50 lugs. I paid about $300 on eBay for primo rims with shipping and $48 for the lug nuts -- again on eBay.

Cool -- got a pic? I like a lot of the Toyota/Isuzu rims. Lots of choices out there!

I did the low tech thing -- cut and pasted pictures of Toyo rims from a mag to a side view print of a Nissan from the American wheel site. The result looked OK, so I then borrowed a friends Toyo with those rims and did a one-side trial fit in my driveway. I learned I needed the different lug nuts, that the brake calipers had plenty of clearance, and that the look was sweet. I don't use the plastic Toyo center caps, but they'll fit the rear wheels no sweat and can be modified to fit around the Nissan front hubs.
I'd love to provide pics but I haven't gotten my digital (gift) camera out of the box yet. I'm so ashamed....
Before I forget, I've seen a mid-nineties Pathy once or twice around here sporting the slightly earlier Toyo alums ('87-'92 or so) and they looked good too.
