86 nissan pickup -rebuild or sell
i have a 1986 nissan pickup that has been checked out by two mechanics one I trust that say my motor is worn out....2 cyclinders have less than 50% compression....needs a starter too.....needs new bumper in front, otherwise in great shape, paint interior etc.....am debating whether to have someone rebuild the motor, put a motor in it or just buy another 1986 pickup....really like the pickup.....have gotten several cost estimates from $1800 to $3000. I don't mechanic on vehicles I grow plants....!!! any comments would be appreciated.
