Need some quick Pathy shock help

Hey guys, here's my situation. I bought a 96 Pathfinder a few months ago. Nice truck, but I really screwed myself buying one that was modified. Anyway, I'm getting ready for a road trip next weekend and I just noticed that one of my rear shocks is a little wet at the top. This can't be good. So I figured I'd just buy some new shocks, but my concern is that the rear of the truck seems to sit VERY high. So I think it might have a 2" lift on the rear. So can I use standard KYB shocks like this? Or do I need certain shocks that work with the lift. How do I even verify if I have a lift? I just want this thing to look and ride stock. I was looking at 4x4parts and I see they have HD springs which give 1/2" of lift. They might be nice since I do some towing. But again, do I need certain shocks to go with that? What's the cheapest easiest thing I can do to get this low and smooth? I need to atleast replace that shock asap. What to do????

I think the easiest and most accurate thing to do would be to pull the shock off and take it with you to the store. Measure the extended and compressed lengths of both shocks (existing and new) and see if they match, or at least if they're close.

Thanks Jadcock. I guess I'll give that a shot.
