crankcase filter

i was buying some filters for our cars and noticed that thier is a second filter on my dads 96 hardbody(ka24e) i put it on the computer and it said its a crankcase filter it was a special one but our store happens to stock it, its wierd its in a fram box but its from nissan it about 7 inches long curcular, about 5 inches high pink in color and has one outlet with another outlet on the outlet, Fram number CA6851, now my point to this where the hell does it go? me and my dad were looking briefly for it and couldnt find it he says it doesnt go anywhere on the truck its pretty big in size so its not something you can miss so does it actually have it or not?

I'd say it's a type-o. I've never seen this on my truck and they're essentially the same. The only air filters that I'm aware of is the air filter, and a breather filter that's in the airfilter case. The breather filter is just a block of foam that's packed in there...

If you find this other one, please let me know... I'm sure mine needs to be replaced!
