Exclamation poping noise

Ok this has been going on for like a year . Its quit anoying. when i stop and go something on my drivetrain pops. like a pop . i dunno if its my rear end or something on the transmition. my u joints on my shaft seem to be fine.. it doesnt matter how slow or fast i take off it just goes Pop. if its the trans i am not gunna have it fixed. it will cost to much money. i will just sell my truck. if its the rear end gears ill replace them. let me know please... if someone had this problem with there truck. i kinda wanna narrow it down and see whats up.

Its a 1995 kingcab 4x4 xe v6

I know you said you've checked them, but it sounds exactly like U-joints going out on you. With the milage you've got, wouldn't hurt to go ahead and replace them, they're cheap and fairly easy to replace anyway.

i just hope its not where the shaft connects to the trans is messed up.where my 4x4 transfer case is. it does seem loose it has a littlebit of play. is this normal?.i think this weekend i am going to change the oil in my transfer case. just to be safe. i do like my truck. i prolly will get another one. maybe a 97 4x4 or upgrade to a frontier 4x4. time will tell.

About 1/8 inch or less play shouldn't be anything to worry about.
