how to replace drive belt

I have a 1997 Nissan XE. I'd like to replace the three drive belts. Two of them have a tensioning system that I understand. The third one (for the fan/alternator) does not (at least not that I can see). Does anyone know how to replace this belt. Thanks.

Sure -- the alternator itself has a tension adjusting bolt on it. It's on the top side if I recall correctly, pointing down towards the crankshaft. You should be able to "loosen" this bolt and then push (pivot) the alternator down towards the engine and remove the belt. Installation is reverse of removal. Pull back on the alternator and tighten the tensioning bolt.
