If your gonna lift your truck, you might as well lift it the right way. Body lifts are not good qaulity. You can lift your truck with a body even if it has an automatic transmission. The lift should come with a shifting rod extension, but you need someone who can weld to put it on. But you run into other problems with a body lift like your steering column. The molding that goes around your Steering column hiding it (so you can not see it go into your engine) will not fit, and will look tacky. Body lifts are more of a hassle than people think, ya the bed is easy to lift but when you have to start putting 1-3 inch extensions on everything in the engine it gets agrevating. Spend the extra money and buy a suspension lift, in long run it won't tear your truck up so bad, and it looks nicer.

They don't currently design a body lift for AT hardbodies (not sure if they ever have) but one could be rigged from a kit for a manual tanny but the reliability of body kits has always been questioned. The best lift to get is the trailmaster 6 in suspension lift (its an investment of about $800) and it does require a new portion of exhaust pipe be made for where the two manifolds join together on the V6 models .Its well worth the extra cost sice you dont have to keep an eye on the tightness of bolts (body lifts suggest you retighten the bolts every 500 miles!) and you have a greater amount of suspension travel as well . Nice truck BTW, I always have wanted the king cabs xtra space. Also 31X10.50 R15 tires are the biggest you can fit on without a new set of axles, I reccomend you look into some baja claw radials or a similar desgined tire as that is what I would buy. nissanoffroad.net is a good place to go for tech info and some good suggestions/ ideas of what you can do to your truck and how to do it.

PS Just wondering do you have the power shift feature [theres a botton on the gearshift] in your SE as I do?

PSS Have you experienced any 4lo pop-out on the trail or 4lo not working at all sometimes?

4lo pop out- where the 4lo gear in the transfer case will come unlocked and it slips back into the transfer cases netural gear, its happened to me several times that I've had the need for four lo and I have had to hold the shifter down with one hand and drive with another. I was wonder if you experienced anything similar (not many people on NF four wheel). About the power shift, I was just curious to see if you had it b/c I'm not sure if it is an option or standard on every model but from what I can tell it increases the throttle response, adds more fuel to the combustion chamber and shifts at a higher RPM. 31's are the biggest tire size you can run safely bigger and wider tires add more weight and stress onto the drive axels especially the front cv's. I'm not saying you cant run 32's 33's but you will have to replace you cv's every once in a while when they break (usually on a trail or in mud). The only safe way to run bigger tires is to swap in a solid axle but thats gonna cost some $.

rockymountiansusp.com has some good nissan products but dont expect much from any site for nissans especially for fourwheelin unless your outside the US
