rear window leaking...

hey I don't know if it made national news or not but we had some extremely strong rains here in the DFW area over the past week. Lots of flooding too.. anyway my sliding rear window leaked a little bit of water into my cab (maybe about 2-3 tablespoons worth) during an extremely hard downpour (high winds too) has this happened on anybody elses frontiers? just curious since this is the first time it's happened and i don't know if its worth taking in to have it looked at.

later,

I'd try the garden hose test. Actually, get you one of those mini fire nozzles if you can. Somehow, get a jet or a strong spray to your rear window and see if you can find out where it's leaking. It might just be a seal whose lip got turned down or something simple. Of course, it could be a real problem, but you may be able to find it yourself and decide if it's worth bringing it in. If you can pinpoint the leak, I'd absolutely take it in and make 'em fix it.

Make sure that it's coming from the window and not that cargo lamp. Mine was defective and we, too, have had a lot of rain. Sadly, though, it leaked onto my seats and rug! And Nissan isn't fixing it so far.

you know that could be it since it was just a little bit of water and my xm antenna wire goes in through the cargo lamp into the cab so it's probably not quite sealed all the way. and since it rained so hard it probably weaseled it's way in!
