Nissan Pathfinder foglight question

Hey guys, had a question. I installed foglights on a 2000 Nissan Pathfinder (base model). All the wiring was already done. Questions is, in the manual the switch for the foglights is different than what's actually in the car. Do I need a new switch from the dealer to activate the foglights?

Thanks guys

A switch is a switch. As long as the rating is adequate, what it looks like does not matter.

Just buy any toggle switch and it should work. If not, you're not wiring right.

Hey, if the car was prewired for the lights, then you should be able to get away with a OEM switch that has the provisions for the lights. You also may have to find and install the proper fuse. These other guys are talking about putting a toggle switch in instead of factory style. It would work, but they would likely not come on with the low beams. It would be alot cheaper, though.

Cool, yeah that sounds like what I'm going to need to do. Hopefully it won't be too much.

Thanks for the info guys.
