Broken plug number 5, thread and electrode is stuck in the cylinder! Help!

I take it im going to have to take off the thing held on by phillips head screws
its just the thread, and electrode

maybe i could use a smaller spark plug and thread it into the old then somehow get it out?

Huh? What happened?

I don't understand what happened to the original plug. The insulator broke off the plug? Its also not clear to me how a smaller spark plug will be used to solve this problem.

Has the insulator been completely removed from the #5 cylinder? I would not remove the spark plug until the insulator pieces are cleared out of the plug cavity. You don't want any material to fall into the combustion chamber as you thread out the plug. RC
