Blown Fuse ? No Lights on Instrument Panel

I have a 2001 Pathfinder. I noticied last night that I did not have any instrument panel lights for my speedometer and gas, also no light on the park / drive shift. I checked all of my fuses and they seem ok. Is there another fuse in the engine compartment or is something else damaged.

Exclamation similiar guage problem

I have a 2000 xterra, and have a very simiar problem to where after driving for a while, mostly while the lights are on, almost all of the gauges in the instrument panel dont work, some freeze up. This goes away after turning the vehicle off and letting it cool down. i've asked around and no one knows. any luck??
I've also talked to Nissan dealers, and other garages, besides the one I work at (i'm a mechanic).... no luck so far.

Remove the gauges and replace the light bulbs, if applicable.
