I have a 97 Nissan truck which has a 3 piece sliding back glass. The piece on the drivers side is busted out. I have the replacemnt glass from Nissan and am wondering if this is a project I can tackle myself, or should I take it to a profesional? My Hanes manual for the truck is of no help on this so if anyone has any advice I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
I can only comment on the '94 Hardbody trucks. The rear window glass is held in place by weatherstripping. Replacing the fixed glass portion will require removal of the window seal and the window sash. The fixed glass can be removed only after the the sash is removed. You need window sealant/adhesive to reassemble the window.
