Project Frontier

Im new to performance modifications so any advertisement&feedback would be appreciated.
I own a 2002 Nissan Frontier with the KA24DE engine, i already added a Dynomax exhaust system, Denso sparkplugs and a K&N air filter, the improvement in acceleration is noticeable untill 50-60mph, then all the power dissapears no matter what you do.
¿If i port the head and get rid of fthe intake runner would be enough to gain some 50-70hp´s?
¿Do you have any measurements to perform the mod?
¿Is there another mod that can be performed without too much$$$?
¿Any other suggestions?
Im plannig to do the mods in a friends garage, so instructions are welcome!
Thanks and be well.

I'm not sure if that model is Super Charged, but my 01 Frontier SC has been killing me lately. I have no modifications yet, but I've noticed that the SC tends to stall, (so to speak), after getting up to higher speeds, (50, 70). -After you get going fast, pickup lags. -I've also noticed that engine performance has been unconsistent, (to say the least), this summer. If its cool out with low humidity it runs fine. If its hot and humid, forget it. -It takes more than twice as long for it to switch into thre next gear, its a total dog. -I you know of anything that might help, please let me know... Nissan just gave it a thumbs up last week... Ugh...

just about the only type of mods you can do to a KA to get a 70hp gain would be supercharging or turbocharging

is your truck factory supercharged?
