12V outlet

On a 2004 Pathfinder, is there any way to get the 12V outlet at the dash to remain on even when the ignition is off?

Wire the lighter socket/12 V oulet to a fuse connection that remains "hot" when the ignition is switched off. Or run a wire with an inline fuse to the battery positive terminal to accomplish similar.

My accessory outlet doesnt even work! I tried pull the lower console off last weekend but with no luck. Does any one have a NISSAN service manual and if so how much was it?

Go here, register for free & for $20 you can download a genuine Nissan service manual in pdf format. While you are at it download the Technical Service Bulletins [Nissan TSBs in upper menu].
