1998 Frontier fuel filter location 2WD- anybody know exactly where this is? I just bought the truck two weeks ago, and have changed oil, filter, transmission oil, differential oil, coolant, checked brake life remaining, etc., and want to change the fuel filter (I have no history on past maintenance on this vehicle). Thanks.
I found it, forward of the fuel tank, under the bed, passenger side, bolted to chassis (about mid-vehicle). Looks easy to replace, especially if you unbolt the protective bracket (2 nuts)

To change the fuel filter on my Pathy, I 1) pull fuel pump fuse, 2) start engine, 3) after it stalls, crank engine 2-3 times more to relieve fuel pressure, 4) turn off ignition and reinstall fuel pump fuse, then 5) replace fuel filter. I would imagine a similar procedure is called for on the Frontier. RC
