'94 Pathfinder LE sound system question

Hi, I drive a 1994 Nissan Pathfinder L.E. 4x4. I have been told that they only made a few LE's that year, so hopefully somebody here will know the answers to my questions anyway.

1. It has an automatic V6 3.0L Engine. It also has a power switch to the left of the stearing wheel by the cruise control on/off switch - what exactly is this for? is it hard on the transmission to use it? Do all pathy's come standard with this feature?

2. The car came with CD/Tape/FM Deck and component systems with tweeters both up front and in back... unlike other nissans I have seen, the speakers don't have <<Bose>> plastered all over them, nor does the deck - what brand are they theN? Also, I hear a distinct rattling coming from the right-front side of the car... is this a tweeter or a speaker?

3. Finally, the FM/AM digital tuner's LED display has gone out (it would seem) I don't think it ever worked since I bought the car - is there any fix for this? Is it a known problem? (it sure is annoying as hell)

thats brutal. Whats the point of the forum if the guy cant ask a question and expect an answer from somebody? nobody wants to read a book... its just not as fun.

1. The power switch to the left of the stering wheel changes the configuration
of the transmission. It will switch gears at a higher rpm. I have a 94 SE and
somestimes use this when I am going up a steep hill or pull out on to a busy
road to get going a little faster. I don't think It will cause any problems using
it. Thats what it's there for. I just use it sparingly.
2. It sounds like I have the same sound system no Bose logos.
I have had my display stop working and I haven't found a way to get
it back on. I would say the rattle you hear is the door speaker, mine does
the same thing.

They're Clarion speakers. The Power switch just changes the shift points on the transmission so you can accelerate a bit faster. The Power light/mode will also come on if you hit the gas hard enough and trip the WOT switch also, then go off by itself after you let off the gas, regardless of the Power switch position.
