Cheak out this thread ( http://www.nissanforums.com/showthread.php?t=44022 ), when I got my 04 I asked the same question. I jsut put in my new one yesterday. Im also working a a custom Speaker box that will be fited to the middel rear set with a 10 inch wolfer right next to my head!

Look at the shifter. The black pice of trim at the bottom( the one that surround the shift and 4wd Gear stick) has to pop off firsts. Start on that pice of trim with the seam closest to the stearing wheel then work you way back twards the center console. That should remove that pice of trim.

That will reveale two screws on the bottom center, maby 4 inches forward of the shifter. Remove those, then put your head down by the shifter and look up at the radio. You will see two more screws just hidden above the radio. Now you can remove that pice too. Start from the bottom and work it up. Remove the wire from the lighter outlet, and you are set to go.

To remove the radio take the four screws out of the metal braket holding the radio in. (2 to the left, 2 to the right). Once the radio is out remove the wires gently, by pressing on the tab on the clip, and pulling out away from teh head unit. Next you ahve to remove the metal brakets from the head unit. You are gonna need a start bit for this. Dont attemp to use philips, that will stip the start bit screws and you will be done for. Once those are off, place all screws in a safe place and refer to the installation kits procedures on how to assemble everything. Then place everything in back in revers. Then your all set.
