2001 SE Pathfinder Spare Tire/Wheel

My wife drives a 2001 Pathfinder SE 4x4.

We had to replace a tire one other time, and I am almost certain that the spare was an alloy wheel EXACTLY like the four other SE wheels on the truck. For a total of 5 painted alloy wheels.

But today when we had to replace it again (2 years later) the spare was a full size, but it was an ugly temp wheel...

Was I halucinating the first time? or did the people that sold me new tires steel one of my wheels?

um how are we supposed to know if you are halucinating, it's either you remember you had 5 painted alloy wheels or you didn't...it seems as if you don't pay much attention to your purchases, look at the window sticker you got with the car or simply go to a nissan dealer and ask them, whenever i see someone changing their SUV tire due to a flat they have an ugly black rim.

You see, the thing is, I do remember that I had 5 painted alloy wheels. But now I see there is only 4, so maybe my memory isn't all that great...

Thanks for the lecture on paying attention to my purchases, full time school, full time job, 2 houses to keep up...you kind of lose track of the little things...

I'm just wondering if anyone KNOWS for sure whether a 2001 Pathfinder SE 4x4 comes with 5 painted alloy wheels or 4 painted alloy wheels...

For some reason I remember the spare (the first time I had a flat 2 years ago) being a painted alloy. This time around it was an ugly steel rim (not even painted black).

Either I remember wrong, or the last time I had my tire replaced they took the 5th alloy wheel and replaced it with a steel rim.

If someone KNOWS for sure that the 2001 Pathfinder SE 4x4 does NOT come with 5 painted alloy wheels, I can rest easy that I didn't get ripped off.

If someone replys and lectures me on paying attention to my purchase, they will just waste my time.
