Question swapping in power stuff in 2000 Frontier

guys. Has anybody swapped door panels, added power windows and locks and power mirrors and possibly an intermittent wipers? I have a 2000 XE, but I have no power mirrors, windows, locks. Can you get SE parts and just swp them out? Or is it hard to re-wire. My 92 had alot of things pre-wired with harnesses already in there. Anybody do this???

Thanks Chris D, 00 frontier

I put power everything in my HB. it already had wiring for the mirrorsbut that was it. you probably have wiring connections for everything, you will just need to get wiring and electrical parts for the doors and the switches. pull apart the lower dash and see if you have any connectors hanging around not used. it would help if you had a factory service manual, they have wiring schematics in them. that way you could find the wire colors.

i have the owners manual if thats what you mean. i also have the haynes repair manual but i havent looked yet b/c its up at college (an hour away)

but yea im assuming i have the plugs to make them work....i've just been too lazy to pull my dash apart.

and the mirrors came with the plugs at the end of the wires, but they dont fit into the switch i bought to control them. im thinking i have wires in my dash that will plug into the switch?? i dunno, this is confusing

go to a junkyard with your yr/model truck and pull the wiring for the doors (make sure it has PW, PM and PDL in the vehicle, you will have to do some digging in the kick panes to get it out. also cut the wires on the opposite side of the connector (body side not door side) this way you have the proper connector for the harness. harnesses are rebuildable so if the connector doesn't match the one in your truck you can put them in the other connector or solder the wires together your call. check your PMs
