Pathfinder Rear-end Ring & Pinion

A rear-end shop swapped a Pathfinder rear-end onto my 97 Hardbody, giving me low gearing and an aggressive limited slip. It's worked great, but now the ring and pinion need replacing.

How can I find out which pathfinder rear end they put on? I'm trying to get replacement parts and none of the dealerships seem to be able to help.

I'd also like to maximize the size of the ring if possible and put the largest that will fit.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I believe there's a serial number on the diff casing which should cross reference to the dealers numbers for some year on the Pathfinder. Let me know what you find as I am looking to lower my gearing in my 93 Hardbody.

Check one of my earlier posts on this, there are 1" letters/numbers on top of the diff that tell what model it was, at least that was the case for the 96+ diffs.
