Trooper is back...

Well I got my truck back... man the power windows work nice... if any of you guys have an xterra or frontier with even a slight problem with the windows take it in. Apparently there has been a recall on the regulators/motors (but notices weren't sent out since it's not really a safety thing) but man my windows roll up and down so fast and there is no play in them. They had to order a new glovebox because mine has a defect so it's not shaped right and a new catalytic converter to get rid of the coarseness in the engine. I have to take the truck back on thursday to let them replace both of those. It was pretty cool driving a Suburban around for 3 days though it was nice to get my truck back.

Later,

Pretty ironic that you traded your GM in on a Nissan, and the Nissan dealership gave you a GM while they were repairing your Nissan!

A joke, a joke...it was a joke!

Good to hear you got your ride back. Do they think your converter is clogged to be making the engine run weird or rough? Did you notice a loss in performance before you brought it in?

Signed,
Shameless GM fan at heart, stuck in a Nissan truck that he's curiously happy with.
