Unhappy 97 pick up not starting

hello again all
this morning i went to start my truck and it was a no go.... turned over but didnt start up. now yesterday was raining all day (i still ahve the problem where sputters on humid/wet/cold days) lastnight it froze....
my thought on it was there might be some condensation in the lines so i tried again this afternoon still nothing
i had the alternator replaced in 2001/2002 so im not sure if that could be it also replaced the battery, and this weekend i am replacing plugs/wires and dist cap.
any other suggestions as towhat the problem may be
thanks

I had a similar problem like that with my '89 Pathfinder. It was intermitently not starting. After being pissed off and dinkin' around with stuff. I found out that it was just a $25 (Dealership price) relay that was bad. It was the fuel pump relay. Since I replaced it I haven't had any problems. Too bad I replaced the distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and ignition coil before I found what was really wrong. About $800 spent for nothing, but at least I won't have to replace any of that for a while.

FORCED to own/drive a 93 Honda Accord - automatic (YUK!) for the time being. Nissan replacement on the way! FINALLY - as of 08/10/06 I'm back in the game! '95 G20t 5spd..blk/blk
