96R50 Nissan Enthusiast Join Date: Sep 2003 Location: South Central, PA Posts: 205	3.3L oil seal replacement Has anyone replaced the front main seal on the 3.3L engine? I am replacing my camshaft seals and while I’m in there I have and would like to replace my front main seal. Does anyone have any tips for removing the front main seal? For the camshaft seals I tap one side of the seal into the head so that I can collapse the steel ring and remove the old seal. I managed to scratch the bore of the driver’s side head, not the shaft, but the bore. An easy fix with the RotoZip and some polishing compound. Last edited by 96R50 : Feb 2nd, 2004 at 07:19 AM.
