I'm having trouble finding a good winter tire for my 2001 Frontier S/C Crew cab 4x4. I don't do a lot of winter driving but the standard tires on the S/C are horrible in the snow. Anybody have any suggestions?
BFG A/Ts are severe service rated and are great in the snow. Mine have taken me through one full winter and two snowstorms this winter. I highly recommend them for winter driving. They are also a ton quieter on the highway than my Bridgestone Dueler A/Ts ever were. Another option if by chance you’re not looking for an aggressive tread pattern is the Nokian WR. This is another severe service rated tire that is excellent in the snow and quite on the highway.
