95 2wd pickup

hello
i am considering putting some wider tires on my truck and was wanting some input...brands, sizes you know stuff like that.

Size depends on the application. Is your truck stock height? Raised or lowered?

Are you looking for something wider and taller or shorter?

My personal preference for street tires are Nittos and for All terrains is Bridgestone Duelers.

I'd reccomend staying with the same overall height tire to keep your speedometer correct. I am upgrading to a 17" wheel on my '93 2wd and used this page...

...to stay near my factory overall tire height. Enter the factory size on the left (mine was 175/75/14) and then a new size on the right to see how the stack up. A shorter tire will make your speedo read faster than you're going. A taller tire will make your speedo read slower than you're going. Good luck.
