Bose Deck Wiring Diagram

Hey guys,

I'm to install an aftermarket sound system into my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder LE. It's got the Bose Deck (with 6-disc changer below), and the wiring in the back is nuts. I don't have any clue which wires go where. Does anybody have a diagram of the Bose Deck Wiring?

I'm trying to hook my amplifier up to the right wires, and I'm not sure which ones to hook up to. (The left channel of my amp will hook up to the speakers on the left, the right channel to the speakers on the right....that way, when I hook up my new subwoofers, they'll be playing the right channels). Anyway...anybody got that diagram? I'm desperate...

You may already be aware that the Bose system includes a separate amplifier at each speaker. I don't know how they would interact with your central aftermarket amplifier. You may have to remove the small amp at each speaker before you hook yours up. Bose systems are a mess -- it's the same design on Cadillacs with the Bose system -- it's almost impossible to change your stereo. I'm glad neither of my vehicles is plagued with Bose anything. They sound great (at least in Caddies), but it's a nightmare to repair or upgrade if you need or desire to.

Maybe this will help?

Are you selling your old deck and CD changer?
