96 nissan pathfinder se / trans. fluid & filter ?

just bought this with 96k miles. mint cond. and garage kept.
owner has used mobil 1 5w30 [dino] and changed oil and filter every 3-4k miles. i was considering switching to mobil 1 synthetic 5w30. what brand oil filter is best with this model pathfinder? any advice would be appreciated.

To answer all the questions I know off the top of my head:

>Always stick with Nissan filters (oil, fuel,...), they are the best.
>My favorite oil is 10w30 Mobil 1 Synthetic.
>Not sure who makes exhaust for a pathfinder, if you want one custom made go with 2.25" Mandrel bent, stainless steel piping and a quality muffler. Random Tech makes good low backpressure cats.
>Not sure who makes shocks for the pathfinder, but Tokico and KYB are good names.
