1990 Pathfinder transmission whine

HELLO!

Really excited to be here as I just picked up a beauty 1990 Pathfiner SE with 150,000 KMs (90,000 Miles) in such great shape. Just needs a bit of work and shes ready to go. I just had the CV boots, front brakes/rotors, timing belt, cam/crank seals replaced by small local shop. Question: on inspection, Nissan said that there is a whine coming from tran/engine. I think it sounds like its in 4x4 mode even when its in 2 wheel drive. I asked local shop and they are not sure abou the whine also. Is this ok or should I be worried? The sound sure doesnt bother me.

thanks!

its really not that loud, like loud knobby tires. its just been noted by inspection and service. no problems with shifting.

thanks!

It might be normal front pump noise. I would check the oil screen to make sure its not clogged though.
