Bad Oxygen Sensor??

I posted earlier on a rough running 88 pickup. Someone mentioned I should look at that as a possibility. I disconnected it and the car ran pretty much the same...still rough but no worse. What are symptoms of a bad O2 sensor?

If your engine is firing on all the cylinders and still runs rough check the EGR valve to see if its open all the time.I was working on a pick-up awhile back close to the year of yours. It was running rough. The EGR was open at idle. The reason? It had a blown fuse for one of the EGR solonoids.Check the fuses you might get lucky and fix your problem.Good luck. Also check for any vacuum leaks.

That's pretty much the test. Sounds like it may be bad.
