Getting old radio out

2000 Fronty, 5 sp...

Just got a new Alpine head...

Now I'm trying to figgure out how to get the old radio out...

It appears I have to take out the glove box, the plastic underneath the radio, under the ashtray...perhpas take the ash tray holder out...

Anything else???

Now, does the radio slip out to the front, or do I have to wedge it out thru the back???

What is holding the old radio in place...must be some bolts somehwere...

Anything else I need to do???

Steve, this is for a 95-97 truck. It may help you out with yours. If it doesn't, go to the website on the PDF file and see if there is one for your year. Hope this helps...

Very EXCELLENT website...

Yours, being a couple years older is different...but the install was there for my 2000 Fronty, and it is nearly the same procedure...
