Notice my Nissan losses noticeable power when going up a hill
is that normal? and what can I do to improve performance?

When was the last time you did a tune-up? It's probably something as easy as buying a new air filter, plugs, etc.

bought it 2 months ago, with 131,000 on it
don't know if previous owner had done a tune up
what can I do to improve preformance or add horse power to it

I wasn't paying attention, and all I saw was 2000 SE, so I assumed it was a b15 sentra. I really need to get more sleep!!!

My uncle is a mechanic and he suggested to change the PCV and add some "Lucas" oil treatment every time I change the oil.
what do you guys think?
