A best bet is to check out http://www.installdr.com to see if there is a write up on how to do an install. If you're not the best with your hands, any local car audio shop (Ex. Best Buy, Circuit City, etc) can do the install for you, to save some money, watch their ads where if you purchase a HU ($99+) from them, they'll install it for free.

Cool

Buy a eletcrical connector from walmart or circuit city for less than $20. This will make it easy to connect..

this connects to the stock truck connecter. You splice this connector to the new connector that comes with radio wiring harness. DO not cut the stock wiring harnes you need this for power grd and seakers. You can still run new speaker wires if you wish...

You can buy plastic adapters to bolt the new DIN style if needed.

Just like Barry said the best thing to do is get that adapter. I had trouble finding one in my area so I had to get one through JC Whitney. Kinda high but guaranteed to work and Im pretty sure theyll be able to have almost every model you would need. In my old 92 hardbody, the harness was already cut so that was a whole new story. If you dont know electrical for auto's check into a repair manual. Just a thought.
