Knock sensor ?

Can any one tell me where the knock sensor on a 2000 frontier with the V6 engine is located. I have a check engine light and get a P0325 code knock sensor. I cleared it with my scanner but it came back went I started the truck. Thanks in advance.

If it is a 3.0 it is located under the intake manifold. I seem to be having a similar problem, so please post if you find a solution.

The Frontier is a 3.3 liter I think. Its my neighbors. I called Napa the sensor is $85 and $130 at the dealer. If its under the intake that is going to be a real pain to get to.

Awefully early for a knock sensor failure... has the truck over heated? Might also check the electrical connections for corrosion... a common problem on the older Q45s, but they seem to be overheating related or much later in the life of the car...

The 3.3L V-6 KS is still located under the intake manifold. You need to remove the manifold in order to access it. PITA, yes, but DIY-able.

Thanks to all who responded. The neighbor had his truck in the shop and they said they replaced an injector under the intake manifold. Now the puzzle is coming together. I wonder if the prior mechanic broke the plug or a wire etc.

Question 2000 frontier knock sensor

The sensor is under the upper intake manifold and it has to come off in order to get to it. I also have a 2000 4X4 with and error code indicating there is a knock sensor issue.?
