Lightbulb Bucket seats

Anybody change the bench in the XE standard into bucket seats? I've seen some nice custom jobs, but they're kinda pricey. Any great ideas for a SAFE way to get buckets and a console?

Hev you tried sourcing Pathfinder seats for your HB? They should sway right in, provided you have the seat frames and mounts. It should be really easy to find a pair in a junkyard. If you want to get custom, try swapping in a pair of sport seats (such as from a Prelude or Integra that are plentiful in scrap yards). You should also get them with the mounting hardware and some relocation and minor fabricating will have to be done, but it's not impossible.

Has anyone out there tried this Pathfinder suggestion? I'd love to hear some details. It sounds like a great idea! Think I'll start looking around...

hey the buckets from the same year pathfinder are a direct bolt in, i havnt dont the mod myself but have seen it done, in fact the buckets that some of the trucks came with factory are the same as the ones found in the pathfinders. I am currently looking for some new xterra buckets for my frontier, should alo be a direct bolt in. As far as the sport seat from another vehicle go, you should be able to swap thee mounting brackets from underneath your seat onto those of the new seats relativley easily, It's done all the time in the minitruck mags, if you have any amount of handyman in you it will be a easy task. have fun

i have a nissan hardbody and took out the bench seats to put in some eclipse seats but i found out that the bench seats have only 2 brackets at each end of the bench, but the eclipse seats are seperate and have 2 brackets each, so would i have to drill 2 holes for the right side of the drivers seat and the left side of the passenger, so can i put in seats but only have 1 bracket, would that be legal , safe??? also could i mayby take the brackets off pathfinder seats and put them on the mitsu seats cus i really want them in, also if anyone has tryed to swap seats in a 95 hb or similar generation theres the big metal bump near the seats, what do i do about that??? when i fitted in the mitsu seats it was all akward and crooked sorry for the really long post just some ?'s that need awnsering thanks
